Hello everybody! I am Rohan Mukherjee from Shyamnagar district in Kolkata. In 2011, I completed my BTech with a specialization in IT from a college in Chennai. Immediately after earning my degree, I had to go back to my village and help my father out with some business. It was during this time that I became aware of the fact that I did not wish to continue with the field I’d chosen for myself. When i shared my concerns with my parents, they became agitated and anxious about my future. My future looked very bleak even to me. I decided to explore the employment opportunities that the public sector had to offer. I learnt of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection examinations and made up my mind to try and crack them. I went back to Chennai and moved in with a friend. I started looking for institutes providing IBPS coaching and finally enrolled myself in one. In 2013, I appeared for at least 12 exams but could not qualify a single one. I managed to get shortlisted for the SBI PO interview but fell very sick right before the date and could not make it. It seemed to me that luck was not working in my favour. The subject I was the weakest in was General Knowledge. While looking for Current Affairs updates, I came across Studycopter’s blog. When I compared the blog to other general knowledge sites I had been referring to, I realized how organized and systematic Studycopter is. I downloaded the app and subscribed to one of the courses. Over a course of three months, the improvement in my General Knowledge was pretty evident. In 2014, I appeared for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Clerk Examinations for the 2nd time. I cleared my Institute of Banking Personnel Selection clerks entrance exam and got shortlisted in the interview. I was placed in Bank of Maharshtra. I would like to thank Studycopter for coming to my rescue and would absolutely advice everybody to give it a try.
P.S. Rohan Mukherjee was from the Scheduled Caste category and cleared his Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Clerk examination with 75 marks.
