Facebook has shut down ‘Free Basics’ in India, as the telecom regulatory authority TRAI barred operators from charging discriminatory rates for Internet access based on content.As we know that Facebook had launched Free Basics plan to provide basic Internet access to people in partnership with telecom operators, but later on it would have been assuming as violation of the principle of net neutrality.
