Founder
Adi Jain

Adi is the Founder and Chief Awesomeness Officer at Studycopter.
One muggy summer morning, Adi woke up and felt the gnarling need to make education, in particular test-prep, easier and more effective. (Really, it was that serendipitous). Of course, being part of and having received funding from the Batten Incubator did certainly help him to convert a random thought into an actual business.
Prior to that fortuitous morning, Adi had taken, and sometimes aced, countless tests, worked with multiple technology companies, and with the World Bank Bank on tech-enabled educational initiatives, giving him the raison d’etre and tools to launch Studycopter.
Adi has an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, where he worked with the core team that piloted Kindle reading devices in higher-ed institutes in the US. He is also a recipient of the UW-Madison Leadership Award, Carole J. Foster Award, and Eugene Hotaling Memorial Scholarship from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, from where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
Adi has worked as a product engineer, operations guy, consultant, and sales manager in his pre-Studycopter life. Adi is part of the 2013 cohort of the Startup Leadership Program-New Delhi Chapter and is a member of Founders Circle-TiE, New Delhi.
